Baltic Brown Granite From Finland

This granite can be supplied from India or China. The veining is reasonably consistent however the colour can vary from light to medium to dark. The darker shade is usually more expensive. In our experience the lighter shades tend to be more brittle and prone to cracks/shakes. Selection is important to ensure consistency for large projects.

Your monitor settings will affect how this image is viewed. These are average samples only, granite is a natural material, slabs and tiles will vary in colour and veining therefore absolute resemblance cannot be guaranteed.

This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite however in the area of application of the European Standard (EN) this stone must be nominated as granite.

Granite: Granite is a common and widely occurring type of intrusive, felsic, igneous rock. Granites are usually medium to coarse grained, occasionally with some individual crystals larger than the groundmass forming a rock known as porphyry. Granites can be pink to dark gray or even black, depending on their chemistry and mineralogy.
