Black Galaxy Granite From India - Our Own Quarry

This granite can be supplied from India or China. In general Black Galaxy veining is consistent however the colour, veining and flecks can vary considerably depending which quarry blocks are used. Star Galaxy is the most expensive and is available only from ourselves at Star Galaxy. There is a huge difference in price depending on the size of the blocks and whether they have white or black line veining and even small to medium to large flecks. Selection is important to ensure consistency for large projects.

Your monitor settings will affect how this image is viewed. These are average samples only, granite is a natural material, slabs and tiles will vary in colour and veining therefore absolute resemblance cannot be guaranteed.

This stone internationally may be nominated as a granite however in the area of application of the European Standard (EN) this stone must be nominated as gabbro.

A fine to medium-grained, black gabbro with golden-yellow sparkling broncite scales.

Gabbro: Gabbro is a dark, coarse-grained, intrusive igneous rock chemically equivalent to basalt. It is a plutonic rock, formed when molten magma is trapped beneath the Earth's surface and cools into a crystalline mass.
